Mt Wakefield is close to the village but over powered by Mt Sefton & Aoraki / Mt Cook. But I began with some plein air sketches while at the “old mountaineer” café. That is a big draw back using the Tablet as the canvas, it is hard to work outside, my M200 screen is useless out in the sun. And battery life is bad, but cafes are fine!

I had a dream. I dreamt Prince Charles had two postcard size oil paintings to put up here as part of the project. I was not to put them here, explicit orders. However these two numbers were allocated for his sketches & I could not put up the sketches I had till his were up, so here they are – even though they are forbidden.

One thing I make of this dream it is that I had thoughts of doing small post card size paintings in oil once this project is over. But I have a task & should not dream, I’ll have to wait, wait like Prince Charles!
