I will keep sketching till I find a style I like & then do more …

Mt. Lyford

There are quite a few sketches of Mt. Lyford our holiday house is right under that mountain – this is the view from the deck. We have just had three days up there. A good time for Kate & I – we will be apart for 5 weeks so we made the best of it. Kate is in Australia and I will be off to the USA on the 25th. When I get back I will just about live up there for a few more months so I will get let this mountain inspire me.

This one, like the next and the few before were all done while I was feeling moody. Look at this photo. A moody me, 1947, I must have been not quite 3 – sixty years ago!

It was not really half way on the walk, but it is a nice title for the sketch anyway. And it is half way through the 1000 – I may be a bit behind, but pleased to have made it thus far.
