The next few are of Aoraki / Mt Cook.
It is all nostalgia for me. I spent a lot of time here in the late sixties, climbed all over these hills and so while this is a tourist site doing these sketches does not feel like tourism to me.

This is still Mt Wakefield, the ridge between two big shingle slides.

Mt Wakefield is close to the village but over powered by Mt Sefton & Aoraki / Mt Cook. But I began with some plein air sketches while at the “old mountaineer” café. That is a big draw back using the Tablet as the canvas, it is hard to work outside, my M200 screen is useless out in the sun. And battery life is bad, but cafes are fine!
