Walter Logeman Art Project 2006-7
Over a fifteen minute lunch break I did a 2 minute sketch. I have pushed it through my file management system & made a blog image and the larger image. When I post this I will see what it looks like!! This is one of the fantasies of my 1000 sketches to sit and do this for hours not minutes. I could then do 1000s. Some sort of perfectionism has crept in. These images are on show! people see them? I am visible. what does that do to me?
Been up at Mt. Lyford for a few days & am warmed up to horses, the dog & landscapes. But all I’ve done is finished off this one from days ago sitting in the café where I did the last one.
I have a swag of photos to work from so I hope they work out, no idea when I’ll do them.
Off to Sydney Australia for a week on Tuesday & I hope to do plenty there, the main thing would be Australian bush. Planning to go to the beaches and the Blue Mountains.
Traveling with a Tablet PC is not that easy as I will be outdoors and away from power & away from the Internet, but stay tuned, something will appear.

Posting late, did this a couple of weeks ago at one of my favourite cafes. It is one of a project of cafe drawings. The earlier ones took me a lot longer, I am getting sketchier & more in the moment with them, but that does not mean I am happy! One of the “Categories” that will remain I think, with many more to do. I have a lot of cafes to visit yet!
What is the point of these?
Life.
Cafes are where I see life and where in a position to draw.
A category that will remain? Yes – some will go. I am simplifying that long list.

Sitting in the café, thinking that the best thing to sketch would be people walking past, and I did a few, but this is the only one worth posting. It led me on to drawing people & there are a few more coming up.
