Silver Spoon

I did this one blind (almost). It is a sketch. I coloured in the spoon rather carefully and with metallic silver… not sure if it prints that well though.

One reason it is here & not deleted like a lot of others is that I like the background, and the added painterliness, something the earlier autopix did not have.

If the silver does not print well, then I could always add it in some other way. John Badcock uses gold plate in some of his. paintings.

Half Way

It was not really half way on the walk, but it is a nice title for the sketch anyway. And it is half way through the 1000 – I may be a bit behind, but pleased to have made it thus far.

On a recent walking trip with friends from to Sumner to Taylors Mistake and back.

Finding the Wind

The mast is masculine the sail is feminine, and the wind is the spirit of creativity, that is not filling the sail. In the lull, maybe because I had no sail? I have not been satisfied with my sketches, I must say that a lot. Damn. However I got going again and did a lot. with the notion that everything was an exploration. Exploring is always OK. Nothing is wasted. (but still a lot were deleted!)
